Explanations

General:

  • A: ID of the hydraulic element
  • B: ID of the control function which supplies the tailwater level (e.g. "y02")
  • C: Identifier: Calculation-type: 1: weir overflow, 2: pipe, 3: turbine

Weir overflow:

  • D: Weir form [1-5]:
    • 1: wide-crested
    • 2: roof-shaped
    • 3: Height/Width = 1
    • 4: Height/Width < 0.4
    • 5: sharp-edged
  • E: Weir crest [müNN]
  • F: Weir width [m]
  • G: weir coefficient [-] 0 < µ ≤ 1
  • H: flexible/movable weir: ID of the control-function(e.g. "y02"),whichs value shall be subtracted from the weir height.(refer to Hints).

Pipe(s): if there are several pipes one after another the following pipe sections are to be written into the next line (without a new HYA ID)

  • I: Height of the inlet edge
  • J: Pipe length
  • K: Pipe diameter
  • L: Cross-section area (if K is given, the cross-section area is not needed)
  • M: Perimeter (if K is given, the perimeter is not needed)
  • N: Roughness coefficient
  • O: Coefficient of loss (Inlet losses)

Turbine:

  • P: Turbine capacity [kW]
  • Q: Turbine absorption capacity [m³/s]
  • R: Minimum flow rate [m³/s]
  • S: Inlet height [müNN]
  • T: Coefficient of losses [-] 0 < η < 1
  • U & V: Minimum 2 rows with supporting points for the efficiency-curve ηT=f(Q/Qmax) of the turbine

Hints

Tailwater level for turbines and weirs

A Tailwater level is supplied by a control-function (system status). The ID of the desired control-funtcion must be named in the column WSP unten. The IDs of the control-functions are assigned in the KTR-File.

If no tailwater level is supplied, the tailwaterlevel will be determined as a MIN_mNN, which is a constant with the value -490 müNN.

Lowerable weir

A lowerable weir can be implemented by writing the ID of a control-function (refer to KTR-File) into the column Fak hue. The value/factor from the control-function will be subtracted from the normal weir crest for each time increment (not multiplied).
