The Delft-Fews Published interface format (PI) consists of a number of xsd schemas defining a number of XML formats for the exchange of data. The timeseries format deals with (scalar) timeseries data.

BlueM.Wave can read and write time series in FEWS PI format.

== Notes ==
* When importing, the combination of <code>locationId</code> and <code>parameterId</code> is used as the time series title: <code><locationId>.<parameterId></code>
* When exporting, the <code>event</code>'s <code>flag</code> attribute is always set to <code>2</code> ("Completed/Reliable", see https://publicwiki.deltares.nl/spaces/FEWSDOC/pages/8684161/D+Time+Series+Flags)
* The following table shows the mapping used between FEWS PI <code>type</code> and BlueM.Wave interpretation:
