Notes

Modifications to the dataset

BlueM.Opt creates copies of the dataset for performing the simulations. The original dataset is only modified in the following two cases:

  1. when using SensiPlot
  2. when selecting a solution and reevaluating that solution for displaying the hydrographs in Wave.

During normal optimization, only the copies of the dataset are manipulated. These copies are located in the directory containing BlueM.Opt.exeand are called Thread_01, Thread_02, etc.

Using a custom version of Talsim

Currently, Talsim-NG v3.0.1.6 is included in BlueM.Opt. To use a custom version of Talsim, edit the user.config file located in the BlueM.Opt directory under the following directory: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\BlueM_Dev_Group\.
