Explanations

General

  • A: Identifier, must start with "S"
  • B: ???
  • C: Calculation method [1-5]
  • D: Length [m]

Calculation method 1: translation

  • E: Translation time [min]
The translation time is always rounded down to a multiple of the simulation time step!
If the translation time is shorter than the simulation time step, no translation will take place!

Calculation method 2: Pipe calculated using Kalinin-Miljukov /
Calculation method 5: Pipe calculated using non-linear Reservoirs

  • F: Profile type [1-4]:
    1: circle
    2: egg (Norm-Ei H/B = 1,5)
    3: Maul (Norm-Maul H/B = 0,75)
    (implemented but faulty 4: rectangle)
  • G: diameter (or width)
  • H: cross-section area
  • I: bottom slope [‰]
  • J: roughness
  • K: ID of the free-form profile to use (see FFP-File)

Calculation type 3: open channel
An open channel profile is defined over several lines, each representing a horizon of the profile at the given height

  • L: if v, this horizon is considered part of the flood plain
  • M: height of the horizon [m]
  • N: width of the left (river)bank [m]
  • O: roughness coefficient kst left (river)bank [m1/3/s]
  • P: width of the right (river)bank [m]
  • Q: roughness coefficient kst right (river)bank [m1/3/s]
  • R: bottom slope [‰]

Calculation method 4: rating curve
A rating curve is defined over several lines

  • S: Water level [m]
  • T: Cross-section area [m²]
  • U: Discharge Qab [m³/s]

MQ

  • V: Initial discharge [m³/s]
is additionally scaled with the parameter Gerinneabfluss [% von MQ] in the ALL-File!

Temperature:

  • W: Calculation method for temperature
1: Mean value with optional annual / weekly / daily pattern
2: Temperature from a time series
  • T1: Mean temperature [°C]
  • T2, T3: Number of the utilized annual / daily pattern
  • T4: File number of the utilized temperature time series (refer to EXT-File)

Notes

The maximum number of lines that can be entered per transport element is 26! (TRS_MAXSTZ)
